Having these ready makes arrival day smooth and keeps every horse on the property safe.
02Arrival day
- Call ahead. Let us know your arrival time so we can direct your float to the right entrance.
- Arrive in daylight if you can, so your horse can see the new surroundings.
- Keep it calm. Walk your horse around the paddock boundary so they learn the fence line and water point.
- Stay a while. Watch how your horse settles and check they find the trough.
03Settling in
- Keep the diet the same for the first couple of weeks, and change pasture access gradually.
- Check your horse more often in the first week — appetite, droppings, water and any scrapes.
- Expect some calling or fence-walking at first; most horses settle within days.
- Book routine farrier and vet visits early so there's no gap in care.
04Owner FAQs
How much does agistment cost?+
Packages are $50 (Standard), $70 (Paddock Plus), $100 (Premium) and $250 (Full Care) per horse, per week. The optional live horse camera is $20 per week.
Is Full Care available now?+
Full Care — including twice-daily feeding and daily rugging — is available from November 2026. Call to discuss timing for your horse.
Can I visit my horse whenever I like?+
Yes. Owners have 24/7 access, including six direct-to-paddock private entrances and dedicated laneways.
Are stables guaranteed?+
Stable use is included in Premium and Full Care, allocated subject to availability and property conditions.
What might cost extra?+
Specialised feed, supplements, veterinary, farrier and other individual requirements may attract additional charges.
Can I watch my horse remotely?+
From November 2026 you can add 24/7 phone-app viewing, supported by high-bandwidth satellite internet, for $20 per week. CCTV and paddock-view cameras are security and welfare aids only and don't constitute continuous observation.
How do I arrange an inspection?+
Inspections are by appointment. Call 0414 094 055 and please telephone before arriving so floats can be directed to the right entrance.
